Another date

So, I have another date to look forward to and it is not with Little Red.

Sometimes, just sometimes, you don’t know why you message somebody on a dating site. Sure, they are probably slightly your type and maybe their profile is slightly more interesting than most but there perhaps is nothing that really makes them stand out as somebody you simply must talk to.

This is certainly the case with this girl. Sure, she’s pretty but her profile on POF is very short with not much to go on. Normally I wouldn’t bother and maybe I wasn’t expecting an answer (until that point I hadn’t received a single reply on that site). I sent her a message about one of her hobbies, asking a couple of very basic questions. It is something I have never tried, but one of those things that I would like to give a go at some point in the future.

From there we have really escalated conversation into other areas. It turns out we like the same sort of holiday destinations. She has a passing interest in my area of study and we have built it from there really. We got talking about a month ago and after she went on a short holiday, she is now back and we are meeting up this weekend for lunch and a gossip.

Can’t wait!

As for Little Red, we have yet to arrange a second meeting due to illness but I’m hopeful we can sort something out soon.
